Sanders Family!

Any of you who know this family have to know how silly they are. I have known Steve for probably half my life. He was around while I went to school at Maranatha. I just recently received an email from him for pictures and couldn't believe how much he hadn't changed. All boys too! How does Roxie do it??:) Same crack up as he always has been. His wife Roxie is a perfect compliment to him. I had a blast laughing the whole time. Thank you Steve and Roxie! Hope you had fun at Chuck e Cheese!!
It was his birthday so I told him to pose however he wanted and this is one he chose :) Happy Birthday!!

The Kendalls!

Mandy and I had never met before this shoot. It felt like I had already known her forever. So much fun! I can't wait to do our next shoot. Stay posted for Mandy and Shawn's couple shoot! Have a great day everyone.

Poor kids start to get cranky when asked to smile a million times :(

Boise Wedding Photography: Jeff + Stephanie {Barber Park Wedding}

Where to begin...I have known Jeff for about 11 years. Over the years I have called on him to help me with boy stuff, like changing a flat tire in the middle of the night. I've always been pretty helpless. If anyone knows him he is one of the greatest, most giving, thoughtful, outgoing, and self-less guys to know!! When I saw him with Stephanie I told him he better not to mess this up. They are made for eachother, literally! If you have ever seen them together you would know. After a few years of dating and Ella, he finally proposed! I am so happy to say that they had the most gorgeous day for a wedding. Although it started out very rainy and cloudy, by the time they walked the isle the sun had come out made for a breathtaking day!

Here are a few of the photos from the day, I seriously couldn't narrow it down.  Love you two! Congratulations Friends!

Nick~ Lori and the Sarich Boys

Its funny how you meet one person and they introduce you to many more people. My friend Kelly married Matt Sarich, who happens to be Nick's brother. I met Lori and the boys at Kelly's wedding last August. We did a shoot with the boys earlier this year and she decided she wanted a family shoot for the Holidays. Lori, bless her heart, recommended me to a friend Mandy who I also had a shoot with this week. I just got a call from Mandy's friend Jeannie for a shoot next week....so THANK YOU Kelly for introducing me to Lori-Mandy-and Jeannie!!

Although Kolt, the youngest was not in the mood for pictures we tricked him and got some good ones despite his efforts.  Luke had NO problem smiling the whole time. He is a natural! I am so thankful for the Sarich families!!

My soon to be HUBBY!

So, I haven't blogged about my sweetheart Aaron yet...Im so bad. First of all, I don't know what I did to deserve such a perfect guy! He is exactly what I was looking for from the beginning although I got off the path for awhile.

I met Aaron at Old Chicago in 2007. It was his first couple days in Boise after being recruited to Boise State to play basketball. The only person that he knew was a guy named Jim. Jim and Aaron were roomates at junior college in California and played basketball together there. Jim and I worked together! So.....God brought Aaron all the way from California, not only just to Idaho, or to Boise, or even Boise State, but to MY WORK! God is so good. He had the hots for me right off :) I am the older woman BUT he still wanted to get to know me. From then on it was wonderful!

Last year we got baptized together in the Boise River along with 100's of other people. We spend almost all of our time together and always have since the beginning. He is very calm and patient. Super silly once you get to know him. Kids and animals FLOCK to him, I'm not kidding! He's dreamy..ha ha!! May 22 of this year he proposed so now he is really in for it. I am so excited to see where God puts us both. He has brought me a promising career in Photography and also has taken Aaron to Poza Rica Veracruz Mexico! We will just have to see where He takes us next!

Shawn, Leah and Ruthie head to the Park

I had the pleasure of shooting the Henry Family for the second time! I must be doing something right. :)  It was so nice to see Ruthie again. This time she opened up and showed her personality to me more! This family cannot take a bad picture. Here are a few from the shoot...

Best Girly and Her Family get their Photos done FINALLY!

So my friend Rebecca and I have been friends for....forever, since 7th grade. Long before the hubby and the girls her and I were laughing and causing trouble. She is one of those friends that will always make you laugh, always looks at the bright side and is almost always in a great mood. She is getting into photography and had some ideas for her shoot. I loved shooting her because she let me be bossy and didn't mind me telling her that certain poses just didn't work. Her husband Julio was great, well he always is, basically just was there to look pretty. Her girls were little models LOVING the camera and the camera loved them. All and all it was super fun and quick, the sun was going down and there was a BOISE STATE football game on too so we had to get Julio home :)

A New Beginning

This is a link to a song by Ricardo Sanchez.

MOVING FORWARD

This song is beautiful and is my official theme song for this time in my life. I am so thankful for the new and big changes in mine and Aaron's journey. Stay on track and everything will prosper!

Jay and Tami are Engaged!!

JAY AND TAMI. Tami works for a local television station and met Jay while doing a piece on local bands. Jay of Soul Serene caught her eye immediately. Their first date was at The Flying M coffee house. They sat across from each other and by the end of the date he was sitting next to her. He bought us girls Chai teas while we were there and was a complete gentleman. They have been dating for about 2 years and are adorable together. They are planning on getting married here in Boise next spring. Here are a few from our shoot. Congratulations again!
